Four short days ago I was luxuriating in the warmth of Southern
California.
We headed home to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Vello assured me spring had arrived and posted pictures of daffodils.
We pulled into LaConnor 1000 Trails just before sunset and managed to
get a coveted Salmon loop waterfront site.
I quickly got a fire going.
As we were sitting, sipping wine and
gazing over the Puget Sound, the cold seeped into my bones and I
realized I had made a terrible mistake… “I can’t take it, I’m going
back to California!”
This is NOT my idea of spring!!!
